South Beach, Florida (SoBe) is famous as the American Riviera or the Art Deco District. The mellow city has a non-stop nightlife, fine dining, and white sandy beaches. It is between Biscayne Bay and the Atlantic Ocean with streets ranging from 1st to 23rd Miami streets. The climate is favorable; summer being moderated by the ocean making it humid and winters are mild. There are several Metrobus lines such as South Beach Life connecting the city to the Metrorail. Art Décor District got this name due to the high concentration of art décor architecture. SoBe has a lot of places to tour and to have a great time. The nightclubs are home to party lovers while the exquisite restaurants offer fine dining with some opening 24 hours. The Miami Art Décor Center is a place where one can get all the information on places to tour. Lincoln Road and Washington avenues are excellent places to shop in, with the boutique shops and the market. The beach is a place to enjoy oneself under the sun, get a good photo shoot and watch the city lighting during the night. Halouver Park is a superb place to fish. There are museums such as Polar Bass, which has religious art dating in the 16th century and World Erotic Museum. Other attractions are Lummus Park, Southe Pointe Park, Miami Beach golf club and Flamingo Park among others.
The city is not about partying but also learning having a South Shore Library and several schools. The schools include Southe Pointe Elementary School, South Beach Language and a branch of Florida International University School of Architecture among others.
